The tour is in support of his sophomore album Nurture, which was released earlier this year on April 31. Robison's second album follows a 7-year hiatus after the release of his debut LP Worlds in 2014.

The DJ has been very open about the difficulties he faced in the intervening years between the two records - dealing with anxiety brought on by his sudden success as well as his brother's cancer diagnosis.
"I thought I couldn’t make music anymore, and I wasn’t sure if my existence would have any meaning if I couldn’t make music," Robinson explained.
The North Carolina native returned to songwriting over the past few years, resulting in the more intimate and personal Nurture.
The sophomore album was expected to receive a Grammy nomination for at least on of the two Dance/Electronic categories, but was surprisingly snubbed for both. Robison's reaction to the brush off was quite succinct .

The DJ's snub, though, is far from the only controversy facing the music awards this year.
