Kevin Neary recently played an explosive sold out show in the Grand Social last November for 300 people.
Galway native Kevin Neary has shared a brand new single, full of soul and blending genres like acoustic, pop, folk and rock.
Liked to artists such as Dermot Kennedy, Hozier, Matt Corby, Gavin James, Paolo Nutini and Tom Odell; the 27-year-old started out his career from humble busking roots. Steadily, he grew his musicianship on the streets of Galway and Dublin, showcasing his multi-instrumental versatility and honed a live band show.
Raw vocals are Neary's ultimate bread and butter, and 'Man of Faith' is no different. An explosive, crescendo-like chorus is well-earned, with his gravelly tone adding a blues element. The chemistry between himself and his romantic partner builds in parallel to the song's instrumentation, with harmonies in the chorus adding further texture and emotional power.
Produced by Michael Heffernan (Dermot Kennedy, The Script, Gavin Friday, Swedish House Mafia, The Coronas), 'Man of Faith' is a fiercely romantic new offering. Neary also worked with Heffernan on his 2021 single 'Hopelessly True'.
First penned in 2018, the youthful, heartfelt song is an unashamed and intensely powerful outlining of the artist’s newly-found captivation. A new special connection is described as “the world’s most cataclysmic delight”. He rushed home to write the track after an incredible evening with the person to lay down the intense emotions flooding over him.
The track opens with soft, delicate and enticing tones before exploding into a beautiful, orchestral soul anthem with Neary’s powerful and distinctive vocals

Storming the live scene in Ireland by performing at The Grand Social, Whelan's, Workman's, The Button Factory, The Roisín Dubh and the UK (Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club (London), The Bedford (London); Neary was spotted by Golden Globe-winning singer Keala Settle, who is best known for her take as the 'Bearded Lady' in The Greatest Showman. She happened upon his live set in Dublin bar Bruxelles in 2019 and boosted him via Instagram.
After approaching Kevin on the night to compliment his performance, a video of his live rendition of 'Man of Faith' appeared on her Instagram, where she commended Neary’s ability: “Kevin Neary nailed it in Bruxelles tonight!”
