Rising Irish pairing The Brave Collide have unveiled the cinematic video for new single 'FIRE', premiered below by Hot Press.
The video sees the emerging act explore Co. Down's Mourne Mountains, with the atmospheric visuals adding to the power of the track's booming lyrics. Curated by Dan Dan Media, the visuals see Chloë Agnew and Brian McGrane separately and together acting out the meaning behind the melodic single. If punchy ballads are on your radar, 'FIRE' has all the ingredients of a radio hit.
The duo joined forces in 2017, when YouTube covers gained quick momentum online. Chloë originally cut her teeth with the hugely popular ensemble Celtic Woman, going on to forge a solo career which has garnered over 20 million streams to date. Born in Dublin to entertainer Adéle "Twink" King and Irish oboist David Agnew, Chloë began professionally acting, singing and dancing at a very early age.
To date, Chloë is featured on a total of 14 of Celtic Woman’s albums, recording songs in English, Irish, Latin, Japanese, Italian and German on their various albums, which have sold more than eight million copies worldwide, and all of which have debuted at No.1 on Billboard's World Music chart.
Agnew's first solo single ‘Love is Christmas’, entered the Top 10 in the iTunes music charts. She followed this with her debut solo EP The Thing About You in 2018. Produced by Joshua Spacht and Brian Hitt, the EP was recorded between studios in Nashville and Hollywood.

Having toured the world and worked with artists such as Gavin James, Celtic Woman, Tom Walker, Phil Coulter and Sharon Corr to name a few; Brian McGrane has a wealth of experience and exposure to the music industry. The self-produced Meath artist started releasing music in September 2018.
It seemed only natural that McGrane and Agnew would join forces, carving out a unique form of pop-folk music for a generation in need of more duos.
The Brave Collide's cover of Coldplay's 'Everglow' was well received, adding to their conviction that their strong friendship would lend itself to a professional, musical partnership.
They found parallels along their journeys that would keep them aligned in music and in life. Building a concept around the musical freedom and artistic connection, they found when working together felt like the natural way forward for Chloë and Brian.
In 2021, the band released their first original track, ‘Somebody Just Like You’, which was selected by several Spotify editorials and earned them a performance on The Six O'Clock Show.
The pop-folk outfit's name represents the bravery that comes with stepping out of your comfort zone, taking creative risks, and bearing your soul to your audience in the process. It's also a nod to the ever-evolving music industry in which artists are forced to take brave leaps into the unknown in order to reap the rewards.
'FIRE', an upbeat pop ballad with some acoustic folk influences, acts as the captivating act's first release.

The track was co-written by The Brave Collide, Brian McGovern and Eva Campbell during the fun and free-flowing creative process that underpins all that they do. Drawing inspiration from similar sounds, Chloë and Brian's musical strengths have come together in synergy, with eclectic results.
