The singer will also headline Workman's on June 3.
After a string of chilled-out, easy-listening tracks, Amy Ellen is back with a music video for her newest single 'Day Dreamin.'
An avid member of the emerging Irish indie pop/rock scene, the Dublin-based singer takes inspiration from artists such as Kurt Vile and Lucy Dacus.
Explaining the theme of the new track, she said: "The song captures a moment in our teenage years, where we catch ourselves fantasizing about the future, a person or even a lifestyle."
The new video, which is being officially released on June 2, makes use of a 50s- infused concept, filmed between the DLR Mill Theatre in Dundrum and the singer-songwriter’s own bedroom.
“It’s a reflection of a time in my life when I would catch myself fantasizing about my future. As an artist I don’t think you ever feel like you’re where you want to be, you always find room to grow and want to keep improving your art," she explained.
The highly anticipated new video comes ahead of her Workman's gig on June 3.
