The video was directed by Jamie Neish (Broken Film).
Travi The Native teams up with Broken Film videographer Jamie Neish to release a tongue-in-cheek music video for ‘SEEM2U’, an instant earworm from his debut EP – which drops today (July 7).
Travi uses the video's platform to highlight the toxic side of social media.
"I would love to believe that artists could survive without social media, but I’m not sure how possible it is these days," Travi explains. "Especially in a time like the last year and a half, gigs haven’t been a thing, so I have solely existed online. I also believe that a strong brand on social media is hugely important. Sometimes just as important as the music. It’s another tool to utilise the best you can!"
While Travi feels social media can be used for promotion, the video and track also carry a certain self-awareness about mental health.
"I absolutely believe artists can change the conversation about mental health," he says. "The more people in general fighting for change and speaking up the better, and artists who have a fan base and a platform in which to reach a lot of people can only be a good thing."

Travi's EP, God Only Calls The House Phone, is over a year in the making, an 8-track record expertly fuses contemporary music and 80’s pop with his soulful vocals.
