The sixth and final season of Netflix’s popular political drama is due to premiere later in the year.
The series previously centred on the exploits of House Majority Whip Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) who schemes, blackmails and murders his way to presidency with the help of his Lady Macbeth-esque wife Claire (Robin Wright).

However, following Netflix cutting ties with Spacey due to sexual misconduct allegations, the new series will solely focus on Wright’s character with Frank Underwood being written out of the show.
As Spacey exits the series, actors Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear have been added to the cast.
