The new season sees Robin Wright's Claire Underwood take centre stage following Netflix cutting ties with Kevin Spacey
The sixth and final Season of House of Cards will premiere on Netflix November 2, 2018.
The series previously centred on the exploits of House Majority Whip Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) who schemes, blackmails and murders his way to presidency with the help of his Lady Macbeth-esque wife Claire (Golden Globe winner Robin Wright).
However, following Netflix cutting ties with Spacey due to sexual misconduct allegations, the new series will solely focus on Wright’s character with Frank Underwood being written out of the show.
As Spacey exits the series, actors Diane Lane (Unfaithful) and Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine) have been added to the cast.
