Rihanna joins artists in banning Donald Trump from using her music
Rihanna vows to ban her music being played at future Trump rallies.
Rihanna has become the latest artist to vow to stop the U.S. President from using her music at "tragic rallies". In a recent tweet, the singer explained she is working towards a ban. Rihanna revealed she "nor [her] people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies". In that case her music should not be playing either.
Not for much longer...me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up philip! https://t.co/dRgRi06GrJ

The statement came about as the White House Bureau Chief at The Washington Post Philip Rucker tweeted about the unusual atmosphere at Trump rallies referring to them as "unlike anything in politics". Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" ironically is the song mentioned in the tweets.
Rihanna is not the first artist to ban music from the President. Pharrel Williams banned Trump from using his song 'Happy' at Trump rallies in October 2018. Adele, Queen, and Elton John also refused Donald Trump from using their work.
