The second single from siix sense and R03 hopes to show their genre-blending style with a new dance-infused pop/electronic song.
Emerging musician Siix Sense has shared his second single following a hugely successful gig last night at the Sound House in Dublin city centre.
'what you want' carries itself with hard hitting melancholic vocals about the despair and love lost of his past, layered over various bass and lead synthesisers and a 4/4 kick by R03.
The track follows Siix Sense's debut single 'not used to', which was also produced by his brother, who creates under the moniker R03. Brooding, cinematic and captivating, the duo's first offering makes use of electronic trap beats and alternative hip-hop production.
Confessional in its lyrical style, the rising Irish act describes the experience of having nothing to lose while a loved one has nothing to gain, exploring sacrifice and mental strain.
"Tell me what you want with me" shows the formerly fragmented mind of Siix Sense, with a past filled with despair and confusion about a long lost relationship.
The Sound House gig had a maximum capacity of 30 in the terrace area and proved the charismatic talent's potential. Irish artist Bless was the special guest of the night, joining forces with Siix Sense on the song 'get to me'. Producer R03 played the beats and backing music behind the performer, who delivered an encore track 'IT IS WHAT IT IS' after a massively impressive 12-song set.
