Rocket Man Takes Off In Theatre of Food Tent

Jack Crotty (Rocket Man) takes to the stage with Trawler Boys for a DJ/cooking demonstration - yes, it's as weird as sounds.

Mixing disco synthesisers with R&B vibes, an ensemble of character take to the stage for an avant-garde dance break. The crew featured a mermaid, a latex-clad diva, and a gentlemen in a sequinned catsuit.

Meanwhile, the men of the hour demonstrated the perfect way to cook a stew. Combining an assortment of peppers and veg to a hot pot, the steam from the dish quickly fills the tent, teasing everyone to the delectable treat.

The club like setting mixed with the alluring scents of veg and meats creates an incredible atmosphere.

While it takes awhile for the audience to warm to the act, they soon catch onto the ingeniously ridiculousness of it all. By the end, the crew had the whole room on their feet, removing all the seats and creating a disco ball.
