Fontaines D.C. will be performing at the live event, and tickets are on sale now.
The RTÉ Choice Music Prize will take place on Thursday, March 5th in a special, four hour extended show from 7-11pm held at Vicar Street. Today on the Tracy Clifford show, it was announced that seven of the ten acts in the short list will perform live, including Daíthí, Mick Flannery, Fontaines D.C., Jafaris, Junior Brother, Maija Sofia and Sorcha Richardson.
If you can't nab a ticket to the event, you can tune in to the live broadcast on RTÉ 2fm to hear the winning album announced. The Music Prize has become one of the year's highlights in the music industry since its inaugural year in 2005.
