The shortlists for the categories will be announced in January.
Known as one of the Irish music industry's biggest nights, the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Event is returning to Vicar St on Thursday 7th March to announce this year's prize winners.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday 17th Nov at 9 am. You can find more information on tickets HERE.
Joining the live event is an exclusive live broadcast on RTÉ 2FM, along with a TV special on RTÉ2 later that month.
The prizes that will be awarded at the event include Irish Album of the Year 2023, Irish Song of the Year 2023, and three new prizes that were introduced last year: Irish Artist of the Year, Irish Breakthrough Artist, and Classic Irish Album. Last year's winners include CMAT, Fontaines DC and Cian Ducrot.
The shortlists for the prizes will be announced throughout January, starting Monday 8th January with Irish Album of the Year.
