Ryan Sheridan's third studio album, Americana, will be released by Rubyworks on Friday, May 6th.
Ryan Sheridan’s new album Americana is only two weeks away from release. As the countdown builds, the musician has shared his stunning, gospel-ballad take on John Hiatt’s timeless song ‘Have A Little Faith In Me’.
The 1987 single is taken from Hiatt's eighth studio album Bring the Family. It was his first album to chart on the Billboard 200, and featured his first single entry on the mainstream rock chart with 'Thank You Girl'.
The Monaghan singer-songwriter is excited to be heading out on tour in Ireland, his first run of home dates since 2016. Sheridan is currently rehearsing for the headline German leg of the ‘Love and Peace’ tour, which kicks off on May 3rd through to May 23rd. The musician is behind previous hits like 'Jigsaw' and 'The Dreamer'.
Ryan recently dropped a cover of Black Keys' track 'Get Yourself Together' from their 2019 album Let's Rock, the tune also comes with a brand new music video. 'Get Yourself Together' followed on from 'The Well', 'Drinkin' Alone' and 'Parachute' as singles from the new record.
In an earlier press release on the album, Ryan said that he's "experienced many styles of music while touring the US over the years. I felt lockdown was the ideal time to put this album together, and I have truly enjoyed the experience of producing it. It has been cathartic to be back making albums and releasing singles and I'm excited to see what the future brings."
