A controversial Alabama judge who appeared on Sacha Baron Cohen's Who is America is suing for defamation over his appearance on the show for a staggering $95m.
Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice, Roy Moore (pictured above) famously walked out during his interview with Sacha Baron Cohen who was in disguise, pretending to be a character named Erran Morad.
During the short interview, Sacha Baron Cohen produced a fictional device, which is now being described in legal documents as a "false and fraudulent device", that he claimed could detect pedophiles. Cohen used the device during the hilarious skit to "detect" Judge Moore as a sex offender.
Roy Moore was clearly very uncomfortable with this seeing as he himself was actually accused of alleged sexual misconduct with an underage girl. The claim first surfacing during his failed election bid to win a US Senate seat.
Moore claims that he flew out to Washington for the interviewed by Erran Morad, aka Sacha Baron Cohen, on the understanding that he was going to be presented with an award for his support of Israel. He says he would've never have agreed to the interview otherwise.
It's also being reported that his lawyers sent a letter to Showtime in an effort to get them not to air the footage, which, if true, obviously fell on dear ears.

"Defendant Cohen’s character falsely and fraudulently introduced a false and fraudulent 'device' supposedly invented by the Israeli Army to detect pedophiles. During the segment, Defendant Cohen’s 'device' — as part of the false and fraudulent routine — purports to detect Judge Moore as a sex offender, thus defaming him," it's stated in Roy Moore's complaint.
The TV station said: "The press has been sent copies of an alleged complaint, yet to our knowledge SHOWTIME has not been served. With that said, we do not comment on pending litigation."
