Wexford-born pop musician Saige has been announced as a performer for The Summer Party tomorrow (June 8th), alongside Chasing Abbey.
Given the gorgeous increase in the sun's rays hitting Irish shores, Hot Press are in a celebratory mood. We're kickstarting summer tomorrow by joining forces with Smooch Ice Cream to present The Summer Party, a dazzling evening of unmissable music and tasty treats at The Chocolate Factory.
Performances from hit-makers Chasing Abbey and special guest Saige are on the menu, as well as a free, unlimited ice cream bar! The Summer Party celebrates the launch of Smooch's new summer ice cream flavour, Bubble Gum Bliss.
The country's No.1 soft service ice cream boasts over 170 locations in Ireland. Saige launched onto the Irish music scene in 2020 with 'Soothe Me' and has already established herself as a force to be reckoned with within the industry, especially following the release of her 2023 debut EP.
The baroque-pop artist and producer has a compelling sound influenced by the likes of London Grammar, Lykke Li and the xx. Saige’s catalogue is reminiscent of an artistic maturity far beyond her years; capturing a sound that feels both modern and classic. Having performed a headline show at The Workman's Cellar this past March, the musician's new EP cemented her endless potential.
Alongside her latest single 'Falling,' Sparks features singles 'Emulsify' and 'Sparks,' and the 2022 single 'Outgrown.' The EP's title track landed at #10 on the Irish Breaker Charts and remained there firmly for six weeks. Whilst Saige has only a handful of releases under her belt, she's firmly established herself as a rising star.
Tomorrow evening will culminate in a brilliant, intimate set from one of the most prominent acts in homegrown dance-pop, Chasing Abbey.

Initially making their mark on the Irish scene with breakout tracks like 'Talk To Me' and 'That Good Thing' – both of which have garnered streams in their millions – the Tullamore trio have continued to impress, with energetic live sets and a series of superb singles.
Chasing Abbey recently teamed up with a choir for a special version of their single 'Lie', and launched their impressive The Vault series, which finds them uploading one song a week exclusively to SoundCloud and YouTube. One of their latest tracks from the series, the irresistible 'Oh My Johnny', recently hit No.1 in Ireland on SoundCloud's New & Hot playlist.
Unfortunately, Shiv will no longer be on the bill due to unforeseen circumstances.
