The acclaimed Irish writer be joined in conversation by Fintan O'Toole.
Coinciding with the cover for Intermezzo – the highly anticipated new novel from Sally Rooney – being unveiled today, the National Concert Hall in Dublin has announced a special live event to celebrate the publication. The renowned Irish author will join Fintan O'Toole for an in-depth conversation and reading from Intermezzo on Saturday, September 21.
Following the success of Conversations with Friends, Normal People, and Beautiful World, Where Are You, Rooney's new novel will be released just a few days after the NCH event, on September 24. Exclusive pre-publication copies of Intermezzo will also be made available at the venue by Books Upstairs.
The novel is described by Faber as an "exquisitely moving story about grief, love and family" – following two grieving brothers, Peter and Ivan Koubek.
