And just like that, the Sex and the City star shares another loving tribute to Lyric as the station celebrates its silver anniversary.
Possibly one of the most unexpected champions of Irish pop culture, Sarah Jessica Parker has shared another love letter to Ireland, this time to the post box at RTÉ lyric fm.
As the station celebrates its milestone 25th anniversary this week, Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) has praised the “great hosts,” saying “WE are very fortunate to have you filling our days with beautiful music.”
The 59-year-old actress, who owns a holiday home in Donegal, has shared many an admiring Instagram post about Ireland, from her favourite foods to the Irish traditions she incorporated into her family’s holiday customs.
Taking to Instagram, Jessica Parker praised the program, with a special shoutout to Weekend Drive presenter, Evelyn Grant: "Happy 25th birthday to @rtelyricfm!!! To Evelyn Grant and all the great hosts at Lyric, we are very fortunate to have you filling our days with beautiful music.

Movies and Musicals presenter, Aedín Gormley, was thrilled with the actress’ post and thanked her for the “lovely message.”
Former Xpose host, Lisa Cannon, commented about how she wished she knew SJP "loved Lyric back when I worked on SATC.”
Last week, Jessica Parker shared a screenshot of lyric fm as she listened to Lyric Through the Night, with the caption: "Nice. I try to remember. Cause it's always so lovely. X, SJ #rtéradio."

SJP has previously taken to social media to rave about Kerrygold and also praised the brand on a recent BBC4 podcast, saying that the butter turned food into “heaven,” adding, “We are crazy about potatoes and butter.”
She and husband - Ferris Bueller's Day Off star - Matthew Broderick celebrated last New Year’s Eve in Cill Charthaigh, Co Donegal, and are known to spend their summer holidays in the northwest with their children.
