Say 'I Do' to a Wedding Crashers 2
There could very well be a sequel in the works for the hit wedding comedy
Isla Fisher recently revealed in an interview that she met co-star Vince Vaughn at a party and he hinted to her that a sequel was in the works. The original film centered on two divorce mediators, John and Jeremey, who became expert wedding crashers and naturally, expert women-wooers.
Eleven years have passed since the first film hit cinemas. Owen Wilson, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, and Will Ferrell starred alongside Fisher in the 2005 film. Confirmation of cast and plot is still in development.
In an interview Fisher comments on her character in the film, “I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria." In the original Wedding Crashers, divorce mediator and wedding crasher, Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) proposes to Gloria.
Fisher, now 40-years old, is currently working on her latest film Nocturnal Animals. The dark thriller follows the life of a successful Los-Angeles art gallery owners idyllic life - not quite the light-hearted comedy as Fisher is use to!
