Netflix's new April offerings also include David Attenborough's 'Our Planet' and Brie Larson's directorial debut 'Unicorn Store'.
Netflix's modern update to Sabrina The Teenage Witch, starring Kiernan Shipka, gained much love in it's first season for it's magical spin on campy teen drama. Fans will be excited to see that part 2 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set to drop April 5th.
Other Netflix original series slated for April release include Our Planet, a new nature documentary series from David Attenborough, filmed in 50 countries and on every continent. Additions to Netflix's original foreign language content include new Swedish thriller Quicksand and season 2 of Turkish superhero drama The Protector, coming April 5th and April 26th respectively.
Brie Larson's 2017 directorial debut Unicorn Store, starring herself and Samuel L Jackson, was picked up for distribution by Netflix, and will be released April 5th. Romantic comedies have a starring moment amongst Netflix's film offerings, with new film Someone Great, starring Gina Rodriguez and directed by Paul Feig, coming April 19th, and classic rom-com Bridget Jone's Diary coming April 17th. Additional film favourites to come in April include Gladiator, Jurassic Park and The Fugitive.
