Catch 'Unfiltered Voices' every evening on She Networks' Instagram.
In response to the death of George Floyd in America last week, and the resulting spotlight on racism around the world, She Networks have announced a new platform, 'Unfiltered Voices' – which will see black artists in Ireland sharing their experiences and resources as part of an Instagram takeover.
She Networks, an Irish media agency working in promotions, events and artist management, are launching 'Unfiltered Voices' at 6pm today, June 3, on their Instagram (@shenetworkspr). Dublin-based hip-hop artist Dendo, will kick off the series by discussing the Black Lives Matter movement in America and Ireland.
#BlackOutTuesday has inspired us to share our platform exclusively with the Black artists that are at the forefront of art and entertainment culture here in Ireland. We want to hand this platform over them to share their stories, their work and their Unfiltered Voices. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/cxXTzWBh3n

"One thing we want to express is: This is not for followers," She Networks noted on Facebook. "Follow those who are taking over our account each day. Those are the voices that need to be heard. Their lives matter. Their stories matter. Listen. Engage. Learn how to help."
She Networks are also offering free promotional package to artists in the black community.
