The Dualers will be coming to The Academy Dublin on Saturday, March 12, with tickets priced at €35.50 each.
Nine-piece reggae /ska band The Dualers have announced a headlining date at The Academy on Saturday, March 12, as a step in their Road to Wembley tour.
From South East London, the group began as buskers — breaking out with their 2004 single 'Kiss on The Lips,' which rose to number 21 on the UK charts despite having no industry backing.
Since, they've garnered over 35,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, toured alongside Madness, and have topped UK reggae charts with their 2019 album Palm Trees and 80 Degrees.
Their Road to Wembley tour, as the name suggests, brings them to several cities across the UK and Ireland before finishing at Wembley Arena in London.
Inspired by their father, who was a a local promoter of Jamaican music in the 1960s, brothers Tyber Cranstoun and Si Cranstoun began by busking on the streets of Canterbury and South London, drawing increasingly large audiences. Following their local momentum, Tyber gathered a group of musicians to begin writing and producing their own tracks. Since, the group has been steadily releasing new works, seeing widespread, global success.
