Sorcha Richardson will play the Button Factory in April
Her stunning debut album First Prize Bravery was critically acclaimed around the world.
Fresh off her RTÉ Choice Music Prize nomination, Sorcha Richardson will play The Button Factory on April 17th.
Her debut album First Prize Bravery was critically lauded, a deeply personal release that showcased Richardson's talent not only as a musician to watch, but a songwriter too. "It's hidden meaning in the mundane moments," she summarises. "Days that look like any other day, and yet somehow you have this feeling that it's one you'll remember forever."
While touring in Ireland, Richardson came to the realisation that "the songs that are the most fun to play are the ones that feel most like a band", which inspired the album's guitar-based core and heavy percussion. Hot Press has called Richardson's voice "laidback liquid gold." This is not a gig you'll want to miss!
Tickets on sale at 10AM from Ticketmaster, Friday 24 January for €19.85.
