Oh my god, you killed Kenny
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker brought their demented humour to film (Team America) and theatre (Book of Mormon), but South Park games have been as entertaining as gonorrhoea. Until now. The Stick of Truth is a fantastic, flatulent, and satirical romp through the best known place in Colorado. You play a new kid in town, who chubby maniac Cartman recruits to return his stolen Stick of Truth.
Begin by choosing one of four character modes – Warrior, Mage, Thief, or Jew. Each has their own special abilities, which you use in the surprisingly intricate turn-based combat. You might be fighting crack heads in Kenny’s garage, or school kids with elf ears, but the role-playing gameplay would give Final Fantasy a run for its money. Plus, the animation looks just like the TV series. Whether tracking down Manbearpig for Al Gore, finding Jesus, or robbing Cartman’s mum’s sex toys, you’ve got to respect this game’s authoritah.
