All proceeds to the event will go towards medical aid for Palestine
Cherry Comedy has announced a Stand-Up for Palestine comedy show on Tuesday, January 7, at Vicar Street.
The lineup for the event includes comedians Ardal O'Hanlon, Tony Cantwell, Shane Daniel Byrn, Alison Spittle, Jarlath Regan, Kevin Gildea, Chris Kent, Gearóid Farrelly, Fional Frawley and Duane Doogan all taking part.
Ardal O'Hanlon, recently featured on The Late Late Show and is best known for playing Father Dougal McGuire in the popular sitcom, Father Ted.

Tony Cantwell hosts of top-rated podcast, Tony Cantwell's Hit Show, and is a former Hot Press Comedian of the Year winner.
In an earlier event, Cherry comedy raised almost €40,000 for Medical Aid for Palestine, who provide Palestinians with essential health services.
They say on Instagram that "we're kicking off 2025 making sure we don't lose sight of the continued conditions the people of Palestine are trying to live with."
