With the increasing severity of COVID-19, Garden Collective chose to cancel their original two-day festival in favour of a one-day online festival, now set to take place Saturday March 21, from the afternoon, well into the night.
The original line-up, had a variety of artists from both Ireland, Portugal, and beyond. Due to the overwhelming support of the creative community, some of these names are set to take a slot at the online festival too.

The online festival, aptly named PORT to PORT Connected, will consist of two main parts. First, a livestream that will feature a mix of artists streaming from their homes. And second, a “virtual festival” which walks people through how the festival could have been — this allows the team to showcase the up-and-coming artists who would have played and support what they are doing.

One of the festival organisers Eddie Ivers, commented: “Although our festival needed to be postponed, we wanted to give people a feel for what it would have been like this weekend in sunny Lisboa. We were excited about sharing magical moments and listening to amazing music with all you beautiful people," which is still possible "Just through the use of imagination, an internet connection and a screen."
