London rapper Stormzy will play Dublin's 3Arena on April 1st and 2nd this year.
On the first night of Stormzy's ‘Heavy Is The Head’ UK and Ireland tour in Cardiff last night, the rapper confirmed that his third album will land later in the year.
The 28-year-old Croydon talent (real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr.) displayed a video clip made up of candid studio snippets of the journey he took to recording the forthcoming project. At the end of the footage, the following message was displayed onscreen: “Album 3. Coming 2022.”

The video concluded with confirmation that the as-yet-untitled third full-length will arrive later this year, and is available to pre-order now.
A press release explains that the project will be “obtainable first for those attending the UK leg of his ‘Heavy Is The Head’ tour; A personal gesture of gratitude to his loyal and supportive fans who have waited almost two years for the UK shows.”

That means fans at shows can pre-order the CD format of the album via merch stores at the venue. In doing so, they’ll get a QR coded lanyard, and the option to purchase a limited edition t-shirt.
