The Stranglers' hitmaker Hugh Cornwall will play a number of dates across Ireland this month, kicking off on Thursday, November 22nd.
In a career spanning four decades, British rock group The Stranglers scored an impressive 23 UK top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums, with major hits such as "Golden Brown", "Strange Little Girl", "Always The Sun", "Peaches", "No More Heroes" and "Nice & Sleazy" all written by Hugh Cornwell.
After 10 albums and 16 years together, Cornwell left the band in 1990 and went on to work his solo career. He has since released a number of albums including Wolf in 1988, Guilty in 1997 and Hi Fi in 2000 with a number of tours across the UK and the US.
Following the release of his ninth studio album Monster early last month, Cornwell announced he will play a string of intimate dates across Ireland.
Kicking off in the Bowery, Dublin, audiences can expect an opening set of prime solo songs with tracks from Monster, followed by a set of iconic hits from his extensive catalogue, sung and played by Cornwell himself.

Tickets will go on sale this Thursday at 9am from local venues.
