Beloved author and creator of the Discworld series Terry Pratchett has had one of his final requests fulfilled: a hard-drive containing ten of his unfinished manuscripts was run over by a steamroller.
Pratchett, who died in 2015, had told friends he wanted a hard drive which contained several of his unpublished works destroyed when he passed away.
Manager of the writer's estate, Rob Wilkins, arranged for a vintage steamroller called Lord Jericho to carry out the deed.

He uploaded a photo of the crushed hard drive, joking "there goes the browsing history".

This disk will be on display at the Salisbury Museum in England as part of an exhibition about the fantasy novelist's life.
Pratchett authored over 70 novels. In 2007 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and continued to write and publish until the end of his life.
