The Cure's 40th-anniversary concert ‘Curætion-25' is set to be streamed on The Coda Collection via Amazon Prime Video.
Filmed on the final night of the 25th annual Meltdown Festival 2018 - a music and arts festival curated by the band's frontman Robert Smith - the legendary rock band delivered a set that spanned the legendary band's four-decade long career.
Featuring one song from each of their 13 albums, the special performance sees The Cure playing songs in both chronological and reverse chronological order, spanning their catalogue from 1979 to 2018 in two symmetrical sets.
The band played their biggest hits for the 3,000 fans in attendance at London’s Royal Festival Hall; including “Just Like Heaven,” “Lovesong,” “High,” “The End Of The World” and “The Hungry Ghost.”
Speaking about the ambitious performance, Smith said in a press release, “The format we chose gave the band a unique opportunity to illuminate and celebrate the kaleidoscopic musical trip we are all on, in a very special venue in a very special year".

The concert was previously released in a DVD box set 40 Live CURÆTION-25 + Anniversary in 2019, which was included with The Cure’s Hyde Park gig which marked their official 40th anniversary two weeks after their Meltdown Festival concert.
The Coda Collection, founded by Yoko Ono and the Estate of John Lennon, Janie Hendrix of Experience Hendrix and others, is a subscription streaming channel offered via Amazon Prime Video that serves as home to a number of iconic music documentaries, concert films, and music-related series.
US-based Amazon Prime members can access a 7-day trial, however, details of a full worldwide rollout of the service are yet to be announced.
