"We want to create this space so that women can express and enjoy themselves freely in a safe environment."
Inspired by the instant connections and empowering conversations sparked in the girls' bathroom on a night out, The Girl's Room is a brand new women's only nightclub event – launching in The Workman's Cellar in Dublin next Thursday, June 23.
"Whether we are sharing secrets, lip glosses, exchanging compliments or hyping each other up, the girls' room is a place of connection and solitary," the organisers say of the inspiration behind the club night. "The Girl's Room aims to replicate this experience and unite women from all backgrounds for a night of collective empowerment and enjoyment."
The team behind The Girl's Room is entirely made up of women, including their founder, their promotion team, their graphic designers, their DJs and their photographers.
Community is at the heart of The Girl's Room's mission – with a particular emphasis on involving and supporting women who are creatives, artists and business owners, through collaboration and promotion.
"We aim to support local female-led brands and business and put a spotlight on the wonderful women in our community," the team comment. "We want to create this space so that women can express and enjoy themselves freely in a safe environment."
The Girl's Room are inviting those interested to round up their girl gang, or come along and find their tribe – and join them for a night of celebration at the special launch event.
Tickets for their launch night on June 23 are available from Eventbrite now.
