From September 14th to 24th, the 67th International Automobile Exhibition (IAA) will open its doors in Frankfurt am Main and show visitors from all over the world the latest trends automotive technology.
The event for passenger cars takes place in Frankfurt Messe, an exhibition centre with several centuries of history as a fair trade venue, on odd years. On September 14th, Chancellor Angela Merkel will officially open the IAA Cars 2017. Two days later, starting on September 16th, the IAA is open to the general public every day from 9am to 7pm. Under the motto "Experiencing the Future" the Megatrends will focus on networked and automated driving, electronic cars and urban mobility technologies. Visitors can look forward to be also part of the world premieres of numerous cars and brand new innovations.
"It will be a fantastic product show," says Jürgen Pieper, the car analyst of the bank Metzler, before the start of IAA.
The IAA, which takes place every two years in the centre of the Germany, is an important opportunity for the main European car brands to show off their latest models and to detail their plans for the future.
Tickets costs start at €12 online. Children under the age of seven are admitted for free.
