The Kooks have announced a special reissue of their debut album Inside In/Inside Out - set to include never-before-heard demos and alternate versions of fan favourites.

The deluxe edition of the quadruple-platinum album is set to be released on August 27th and will feature the remastered version of the album - based on the original masters by John Davis - and will include 13 bonus tracks.

Fans can look forward to hearing remastered versions of iconic Kooks tracks, such as the BRIT Award-nominated 'She Moves In Her Own Way,' 'Ooh La,' 'Seaside' and the band’s most well-known single 'Naive'.

The reissue of Inside In/Inside Out will be released on digital platforms, CD and on both heavyweight black vinyl and a limited edition red coloured vinyl, which will include an 8,000-word booklet of sleeve notes based on new interviews with the original band members.

The British band have also added extra dates to their UK and Ireland tour to coincide with the reissue of the album, adding a third date to their Olympia Theatre run in January 2022.

The Kooks will be playing the album, which peaked at No. 2 on the UK charts, from top to bottom along with additional fan favourites each night.

"We wanted to play all the songs from the album along with some fan favourites spanning our entire career as a thank you to our fans for all the love that’s kept the album alive, growing and finding new ears since we put it out in the noughties," The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard said of the news.
