The post-punk outfit have spent the last few days teasing fans on their social media platforms, hinting at new music.
Dublin band The Murder Capital have announced a new single 'Only Good Things' releasing on July 20.
The post-punk outfit revealed their news on Instagram today (July 13), where they've been teasing an announcement over the last few days.
The group updated their profile picture to feature a green background and yellow/gold writing before deleting all previous posts.
The Instagram posts includes a sneak peak at lyrics to the new track: "Jewels in your eyes like Vega at night it’s a retrospect. All the magpies, they’d rob you blind if I’d written it, have you written back?"
The Irish band, consisting of James McGovern, Damien Tuit, Cathal Roper, Gabriel Pascal Blake and Diarmuid Brennan, recently performed in Hyde Park at the British Summer Time Festival as opening acts for Seattle grunge band Pearl Jam.
When I Have Fears, the quintets highly anticipated debut album, was met by critical acclaim when released in 2019. Since restrictions allowed the band have been touring across Europe and Ireland, reaching news heights as one of two Irish acts invited to play as special guests of Pearl Jam.

The Murder Capital will play All Together Now in Waterford on July 31.
