The highly anticipated 2024 iteration of their International Master Course will see attendees able to learn from some of the top musicians in the world.
The National Concert Hall in Dublin has announced the details of next year's edition of their ever-popular International Master Course.
Running from Mon. 29 July to Sat. 3 August 2024, the week-long class is open to violin, viola, cello and piano students over the age of 18. It offers national and international musicians the chance to take part in a series of masterclasses and seminars from world-renowned musicians.
The masterclass is run by NCH Artistic Director Gwendolyn Masin, one of today's most significant concert violinists.
Joining her includes faculty Sarah Christian (violin), Hartmut Rohde (viola), Maximilian Hornung (cello), and Nicholas Rimmer (piano). Attendees will also get the opportunity to work with composer-in-residence Emma O'Halloran and attend a traditional music workshop with renowned violinist Zoë Conway.
The NCH has been Ireland’s national cultural institution for music since its inception in 1981. It recently unveiled an exciting programme for 2024, one that sees leading international and Irish contemporary artists explore the musical present in a series of concerts throughout the year.
