Trainspotting from 1996 will have a comeback to the UK screens as the Trainspotting sequel premieres this month – but only for one night.
20 years after the first movie, Trainspotting 2 – officially named T2: Trainspotting – will hit the cinemas on January 27 in the UK and on February 03 in the US. And to give the fans the chance to see not only one, but both Trainspotting movies on the big screen, the 1996 movie will appear in Cineworld cinemas around the UK on January 17, 2017.
For the follow-up, the original cast including Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller teamed up with Danny Boyle, the director of the first film. The sequel will be a continuation of the Trainspotting saga which brings Renton, Spud, Begbie and Sick Boy back together 20 years later.
