The campaign will promote the timelessness of trad, placing legacies with the up-and-comers, and traditionalists with contemporaries, challenging consumers to rethink their perception of 'old.' The artists will show how their craft is inspired from the past and present, performing with one another and individually.
Commenting on the launch, Jessica Norris, Marketing Director Ireland at Irish Distillers said:
"Since our first drops were distilled in 1791, Powers has been at the heart of many a ‘trad session’ throughout the country. A tradition that has aged well and is thriving, today many Irish musicians blend modern and traditional sounds, connecting with audiences of all ages, keeping the art of trad music alive. There’s never been a better time to host these intimate, unmissable sessions in some of the most character-filled pubs across Ireland.”
Doors open at Humphrey's Bar 6:30PM, April 4th. Tickets are available now via POWERS social channels.
