A new music festival in the midlands will feature The Stunning, Jack L, King Kong Company and many more exciting artists when it gets underway this July in Emo, Co. Laois.
Forest Fest, which was launched in 2020 only for Covid-19 to scupper their plans, begins July 22-24 with the mission statement of "capturing the spirit of the early Electric Picnic events which people still talk about and have fond memories of", according to organisers.
Joining these headliners are the likes of Damien Dempsey, Hermitage Green, Thumper, Ham Sandwich, The Riptide Movement, Soda Blonde, and Mundy.
"We're back with a flourish, with more enthusiasm and excitement than ever," says promoter of the event, Philip Meagher.

"Following extensive consultations with the community and stakeholders in the village I'm absolutely delighted that we can give the green light to a major summer festival for Laois in our stunning heritage village, on the doorsteps of the famed Emo Court."
The festival has various ticket options available, including day passes and camping choices for the weekend - however, the number of attendees is reportedly limited.
Tickets go on sale today at 12 noon from forestfest.ie, where you can also find a full lineup for the festival.
