The Weeknd's 'After Hours' tour will now start in June 2022, two years after the original kickoff date.
The saga of The Weeknd's “After Hours” tour takes another twist as the artist pushes back the dates once more.
Initially scheduled to take the stage in June 2020, the tour was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic - announcing that the show would get underway a year after it was initially planned in June 2021.
But those dates too didn't stick either, as the tour was re-scheduled once more and slated to begin in Vancouver in January of next year. 31-year-old Toronto native The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) has now changed the dates for the third time.

“Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums,” Canadian R&B star The Weeknd wrote on social media. “New dates forthcoming. Current tickets will be refunded automatically and all ticket-holders will be given priority to buy tickets for the stadium shows when they go on sale.”
The newest postponement also brought along some changes, as the show is no longer being marketed as the 'After Hours' tour but rather as the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour.
It has been nearly a year and a half since the original announcement, after all, and the artist has been working on a yet-to-be-named new project - releasing the first single 'Take My Breath' as well as teasing the snippet of a new song on Twitter. While there has been no official announcement, The Weeknd may be planning to integrate more new music into the tour.

The latest change of plans was met with mixed reaction by fans, many of whom expressed frustration with the singer's decision to cancel the already postponed tour, forcing them to go through the ticket buying process again.
