THREAT PUT ON ICE
THE FBI have uncovered a white supremacist plot to assassinate controversial rappers Ice-T and Ice Cube.
THE FBI have uncovered a white supremacist plot to assassinate controversial rappers Ice-T and Ice Cube. The discovery stems from the arrest of two 19-year-old youths who've both been charged in connection with last month's firebomb attack on the headquarters of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Tacoma, Washington.
The Bureau were called in after local police identified the suspects as members of the neo-Nazi American Front organisation and documents pertaining to the conspiracy were seized during a series of raids on private addresses.
The AF are also thought to have been involved in an earlier attempt to blow up the Los Angeles Baptist Community Church while another militant rapper, Eazy-E, and LAPD assault victim Rodney King were attending a function there.
An FBI spokesman revealed that, "in addition to the two minors, three adults have been arrested and we would now consider the situation to be under control. At the same time, we won't be closing our investigation until we know all the loose ends are tied up."
Ice-T's manager, George Hinjosa, is trying to play down the affair. "Basically," he says, "these guys are just a pair of fucked-up youths. There are loads of these pinheads in America. A lot of them have black people on their hitlist."
