Tipperary Indie Rock 5 piece Jester have been added to the line up of this weekends Night & Day Festival taking place in Lough Key Forest Park, Roscommon this coming weekend. Festival goers can catch Jester live on the Saturday line up taking to the Luna Stage at 3.50pm.

The festival boasts a stellar line up with acts such as Mercury Rev, The Pale, Wallis Bird and Emma Langford – among many more – performing over the weekend.

Jester released their debut album Shadows Need A Light in March 2019. The release coincided with an Irish tour culminating in a sold-out show at The Source Arts Centre in their home town of Thurles, as well as taking in shows in iconic venues including Whelan's Dublin, Crane Lane in Cork and De Barra’s in Clonakilty.

Lead single from the album ‘In the Meantime’ was the ‘Play Irish Song of the Week’ on various radio stations across the country, including Beat FM and KCLR FM. The single also featured on Steve Van Zandt's US Radio Show (Little Stevens Underground Garage) and has clocked up over 120,000 Spotify Streams to date.

The punchy 'Little Run Down' received its debut radio play from Today FM's Ed Smith.

The band are an experienced festival outfit, having featured on the line-up at numerous prestigious festivals – including Sea Sessions, Electric Picnic and Feile Classical – not forgetting the ever growing Thurles festival Féile Beag.

Jester have opened shows for established artists including The Fun Lovin Criminals, Britpop legends Cast & The Blizzards.
