Following last night's stunning performances from RuthAnne and Rebecca McRedmond, we're delighted to present another double-header for the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, brought to you by the sea-faring legends from Grace O'Malley Whiskey.

Tonight, April 1, we're kicking off proceedings on the Hot Press Instagram with the next performance in our 'Spotlight on Westport' series, featuring Matt Rowley playing live from the Mayo town at 7:00pm, before handing over to Tiz McNamara in Toronto at 7:30pm.

Westport native Matt Rowley has been making some major waves in recent years. Along his path, Matt has shared stages with the legendary likes of Mundy, Declan O'Rourke and Damien Dempsey. As well as touring the US and Europe as a solo artist, he has also performed with the Clew Bay Pipe Band on their PipeVersity show.

Taking the stage after Matt is Cork-born singer-songwriter Tiz McNamara – who releases his highly anticipated new single 'April Fool' today. Currently based in Toronto, Tiz has racked up over seven million streams on Spotify on the back of his independent releases, and is now gearing up to release his debut EP, April Fool. The EP's title track is dedicated to his father and brothers, who he lost in tragic accidents, and whose anniversary falls on April 1.

Tiz's previous releases have featured on Hollyoaks and Emmerdale, and have received airplay from heavyweights like BBC Radio 2 and Amazing Radio. His starry highlights have also included touring with James Bay, and singing alongside Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Shane McGowan under the name The Justice Collective.
