The Together For Yes platform group includes the Abortion Rights Campaign, Artists' Campaign to Repeal the Eighth Amendment, Doctors Together for Yes, Irish Family Planning Association, Lawyers for Choice, Rape Crisis Network Ireland and the Union of Students of Ireland, among many others.
The crowd-funding arose from concern that the posters opposing the removal of the Eighth Amendment had been both more numerous and prominent.

Together for Yes says it, "respects the diverse views people hold on the issue. But we know that sometimes a personal and private matter needs public support. We believe people are ready to embrace an Ireland that is both courageous and compassionate."
"Our campaign is rooted in the experiences of women and their families, and focused on achieving laws and services that respond to women’s real needs and to best medical practice."

The Eighth Amendment currently criminalises terminations except in exceptional circumstances. The right to travel to procure abortion is not restricted. Figures suggest approximately 10-12 women travel abroad to procure abortions every day. The referendum will take place on Friday May 25 this year.
