After years of rumours, it's now finally being confirmed that Tom Cruise's relationship with his daughter Suri is completely non-existent. "She is no longer part of my life," the Hollywood megastar has told the administrator of a Facebook fans page.
The 11-year-old daughter Suri, whose mother is Katie Holmes, reportedly hasn't seen her father in four years, according to tabloid reports back in September.
Tom Cruise has not been photographed with his daughter since 2012.
It's believed that the 'Top Gun' star isn't seeing Suri because of his controversial religious beliefs. He is a member of the Scientology cult.
“There’s no communication and they haven’t seen each other. Tom rarely talks about her," says one source close to the actor.
But Tom Cruise doesn't even want photos of her to be appearing on a Facebook page set-up in his honour.
The Facebook page was set-up by his old high-school friend Maryanna Carter, whose best friend was the actress Diana Cox who dated Tom Cruise back then. Carter and Cruise have remained in close contact ever since.
Tom Cruise reached out to Maryanna Carter recently and asked her to remove all photos of Suri, saying: "She is no longer part of my life."
This prompted the administrator to post this warning on Facebook: "I am going to ask that no-one post anything with Suri in the future. ‘She is no longer part of my life!!' If you do, I will erase it!! If you continue, I will have to remove you!! Thanks!"
She then expanded in a second post: "No photos!! His request."
