The UK singer/songwriter sustained several injuries after being attacked and robbed outside a New York bar.
Tom Grennan has postponed his Washington D.C. performance after being hospitalized for a series of injuries he sustained on Wednesday when he was robbed in an "unprovoked attack" outside of a New York bar.
The attack took place shortly after his NYC concert and left the 26-year-old with a ruptured ear and torn ear-drum.
In a statement, Grennan’s manager John Dawkins said: "In the early hours of this morning after Tom's New York show, he was the victim of an unprovoked attack and robbery outside a bar in Manhattan."
"Tom is currently being assessed by doctors for his injuries which include a ruptured ear, torn ear-drum, and issue with his previously fractured jaw."
Grennan was previously injured in an attack by a group of strangers when he was only 18, which left him with four metal plates and screws in his jaw.

According to Dawkins, the Bedford-born singer "is in good spirits but needs to temporarily recuperate whilst doctors assess his ability to continue with his touring."

Since his 2017 breakout hit single 'Found What I’ve Been Looking For', the rising star has had three Top 10 singles, a No.1 album, two BRIT Award nominations, and over one billion online streams. Earlier this month, Grennan received an Ivor Novello Award nomination alongside Ella Henderson for their 2021 single 'Let's Go Home Together'.
Despite being "desperate not to let anyone down" the singer will be postponing his D.C. performance to a later date out of an abundance of caution as he continues his recovery.
Dawkins also expressed appreciation for the singer's fans, saying: "We wish to thank Tom’s incredible US fans and their support and understanding.
"We will update on future shows should changes need to be made," the statement added.
