Lamar's last album was released in 2017.
Punch, the president of Kendrick Lamar's record label Top Dawg Entertainment, has hinted at new music from Kendrick Lamar.
The rapper hasn't released a full length album since 2017's DAMN. Podcast host Karen Civil extended an invitation to Punch to appear as a guest on her show Girl I Guess, asking him, "can we play that new Kendrick you played me??"
Punch replied: "YES! Soon."
YES! Soon.

Lamar was confirmed in November to be headlining Longitude festival in 2021, and joining him at the top of the bill – Covid-19 permitting, of course – by Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky. He is also due to headline the Roskilde festival in Denmark this summer.
In August, the elusive rapper was spotted filming what fans think is a music video in Los Angeles. Photos and clips online emerged of the rapper suspended by a crane over the ocean.
Thundercat has also recently spoken about his experience working with Lamar, saying, "when I was working with Kendrick, I was excited. Some of my favourite moments recording were spent with Kendrick… I think I worked on the new [album] a little bit too."
