The Toronto four-piece punk rockers Bad Waitress will play Dublin's Workman's Club on May 3rd, 2022 with special guest Gustaf.
Following the release of their debut album No Taste in 2021, Canada-based outfit Bad Waitress are back with a new single 'Spit It Out'.
The quartet also announced a UK and Ireland tour, set to take place this coming May with support act Gustaf. Bad Waitress will play the Workman's Club on May 3rd, no doubt delivering an explosive set in the Dublin city centre venue.
Speaking about the new track, the band said, "A classic tongue in cheek banger advocating a brattish yet genuine world for all. One dose of this vicious serum will keep your veins pumping all summer long."
Bad Waitress’ antsy art punk revels in fits of fury and ego, making use of the ferocious and playful. The Toronto rockers perform with erratic drum fills and powerful riffs fuelling one another. Having released their debut LP via Royal Mountain Records, they're now labelmates with Dublin band Pillow Queens.
The outfit began under the moniker the Nude Dogs, releasing their first EP in 2017 before changing their name and the band's lineup. In 2018, they released their first EP as Bad Waitress, Party Bangers: Volume 1.
Bad Waitress are composed of Kali-Ann Butala on vocals and guitar; guitarist Katelyn Molgard, drummer Eva Moon and bass player Nicole Cain. Between 2018 and 2021, the act have unveiled a string of singles, including 'Acid Brain', 'That Sedative', 'Pre Post-Period Blues', 'Too Many Bad Habits' and 'Manners'.
