TOUTS Release Video For Can't Blame Me
In advance of their upcoming EP, Derry band TOUTS have released the video for their new single 'Can't Blame Me'.
With an underground 80s inspired aesthetic and powerful display of angst, the video is a showcase of the trio's ability to channel the anger of the younger generation.
Speaking about the track the band explain, "'Can’t Blame Me' is about that period when an election is creeping up. The media and politicians start their campaigns of fear mongering, scaring the people, keeping things just the way they like them. It creates unease and everyone falls in line when in fact they should be out demanding a better life, demanding change."
Derry is also a prominent feature, bookmarking the beginning and end of the video, in a nod to the band's hometown.
Check out the video below:
The song is taken off TOUTS new EP Analysis Paralysis, which will be released November 9th.
