The singer, originally from Swords, has shared a moving acoustic ballad.
Having busked and travelled throughout the world, honing his skills as a performer, Chris Wilson's debut single is a testament to his work in becoming a poignant songwriter.
The song, written by Chris Wilson and Grahame Rolfe, is told in flashes of dramatic images, focusing on the speaker's attempts to understand, remember, and "see" things as they truly are (or were) in his life.
The thought-provoking video, which was directed by Gareth Stack, is a narrative story. It shows us a turn of the century family dealing with life and loss, but the story - in this case - is being remembered by an old man who was the child in the era depicted in the video. As such, some details of his memories are missing, which you can see when some characters mime or interact with something unseen/not remembered.
