'PETRIFIED!' sees Igiebor recount a story from a time where he was growing irritated with his quality of life.
Dubliner and TU Blanchardstown student Fortúne Igiebor has returned with blistering new track 'PETRIFIED!', following on from his April trap track 'NIGHTFALL' and September anthem 'MR.GORGEOUS'.
Having proven his talents this year with an evolved sound, Igiebor is here to finish the year on a high. 'PETRIFIED!' sees the emerging artist broaden his creativity as he begins his production journey. Although only beginning, he provides a hard-hitting trap sound Fortúne hopes to pioneer as a fresh era of Irish trap.
A gritty guitar sound from Femi Adebusuyi compliments the song's energy, while a melodic guitar from Patrick Griffin decorates the instrumental, both previously heard on 'MR.GORGEOUS'.
Igiebor has proven himself to be consistently upfront and honest in his lyrics, detailing his ever changing stages of life in order to share his journey and experiences with listeners. 'PETRIFIED!' sticks to the guidelines while also creating an energy that will leave listeners feeling confident beyond measure.
The past year and a half has been challenging for everyone but Igiebor reached a point of slow burn-outs and true colours being revealed amongst his circle. 'PETRIFIED!' curates relatable themes while flipping the script.

“When I was making the beat, I wanted to make a song for my supporters with an energy that would suit all emotions. Whether they’re sad and need a ‘pick me up’ or feeling confident and want to carry on the momentum. I just wanted to give them a space to feel and be angry alongside me,” Fortúne says of the track.
Igiebor has experimented with new sounds and vibes throughout his music career but recently settled on a more trap inspires sound with a rager feel. He continues to put his own twist on tracks with uninterrupted flows and delivery while advocating for mental health within his art and in his personal lie.
