Leah Rose will share her debut EP 'The Sun, The Moon, The Stars' on November 15th.
Cork alt-pop star Leah Rose’s has shared the video for her latest single, ‘Everything.’
Leah Rose’s latest track is accompanied by her debut music video — directed by Conor McCormick and supported by The Arts Council of Ireland.
The video was filmed at Loughcrew Estate in Meath and Dollymount Strand in Dublin, featuring cinematic clips of fires blazing on the beach.
Leah’s own words helped to inspire the Lorcan O'Hanlon=produced video:
“We decided to take the lyric 'the sun, the moon, the stars' and create a visual metaphor for each of those elements. We used that as our starting off point and then further developed our ideas from there,” Leah Rose tells Hot Press.

‘Everything’ is a woozy track that moves between haunting atmospheric soundscapes and a trap beat-driven pop banger. The song explores self-realisation and how it brings people closer together.
“I wanted to try and demonstrate how your own thoughts and frustrations overtime can isolate you,” says the rising star about the track. The singer added that when you “work through your pent up negative energy you end up returning to yourself.”
“Once you’ve gone through that with somebody you become closer to that person, and in that moment it can feel like you’re ready to be anything and everything to them,” she adds.
Rose collaborated on the song with rising Dublin musician Edward O’Mahony. ‘Everything’ is the third single taken from the Irish star’s debut EP, The Sun, The Moon, The Stars - which drops on November 19th.
The new track follows up 'Goodnight’ and ‘Dangerous Pink’ — both taken off the EP.
Leah Rose spent five years in Dublin after moving from her native Cork, taking much of that time to hone her craft. Leah approaches her songwriting through a cinematic lens, allowing the use of strong imagery and colour to play a major role in the captivating music she writes.
Growing up with artist parents meant that Leah was exposed to a range of visual art forms at a young age. She strives to create through photography and visual aesthetic as well as using music as an art form.
